Q&A
The participant or person in charge of the team must be able to assume technical responsibility compatible with the level of the presented proposal. That is why professional level is required.
The selected proposals will comprise an exhibition at the cultural venue Viaduto das Artes, and if Phase 2 occurs, the authors will be invited to technically fine-tune them and receive a grant for their execution. There are no cash awards in Phase 1.
In addition, all of the submissions meeting the submission guidelines and eligibility criteria will be posted on the website www.outrosterritorios.com.br for general consultation as an online gallery conveying the full spectrum of occupation possibilities.
The specifications for submission of proposals are described in item 5.1 of the Public Notice:
"5.1 Proposals must be sent in PDF format (portrait or landscape) and NOT exceed 10 A3 (42x29.7cm) pages or 20 A4 pages (29.7x21cm) in length. Files must not exceed the megabyte maximum stipulated in the form.
In this way, any media format embedded in the PDF file will be considered.
For the exhibition at the end of Phase 1, other formats, including videos, will be possible.
When the proposal is submitted correctly, the link used to send it becomes non-editable, but the information of the project remains visible to the participant. In the upper left corner of the page, the time and date of submission of the proposal are recorded. No confirmation emails are sent to the participant.
If the submit page remains editable, the proposal has not been submitted correctly. In this case, make sure that ALL sections of the online form have been completed, including the title and project summary.
The intervention can be proposed anywhere in the stilt, either in the part where the beams are located, as well as in the part next to the condominium accesses or near the ground.
On the Stilt-kaleidoscope, the L-shaped staircase that appears in the dwg makes the access from the garage to the stilt, and the straight staircase that appears in the photos belongs to the neighboring building, being outside the intervention area.
In spite of the lack of technical information, the information provided is compatible with the level required for the proposals in Phase 1. In Phase 2, the selected participants will be instructed to fine-tune their proposals.
Other financial resources may be used at the time the proposal is implemented. To do this, specify in the budget what items will be paid for with the extra resources.
For this phase, it is possible to consider the structure of the stilt as support. But the use of it must be done in the most consistent manner possible with the increased load.
If the intervention is a theater, it is not necessary to propose the event that will happen there.
The budget to be presented in Phase 1 refers to the costs of executing the intervention itself, including payment for the team. Expenses in the festival period will be discussed later.
Unfortunately, due to the difficulty of maintaining the participant's anonymity in the judgment process, the submission of videos through links is discarded.
